Background

The world's oceans are facing unprecedented challenges, from climate change and pollution to overfishing and habitat destruction. As the global community explores several approaches to grapple with these complex issues, it is evident that the health of our oceans is inextricably linked to the health of our planet and its inhabitants. In response, we invite you to join us at the international Conference, ‘Navigating the Waves of Change: Nurturing Ocean Resilience and Chartering Sustainable Futures’ exploring related ocean governance topics and contributing to the global effort to nurture ocean resilience and charter sustainable futures.

Participants

We invite experts, researchers, citizens, civil society representatives, social movements and associations, and other stakeholders (including governments, development banks, companies, multi-stakeholder initiatives, etc.) from diverse disciplines linked to ocean governance to share knowledge, ideas, and best practices in addressing the pressing challenges facing our oceans. We also encourage the participation of members of judicial and quasi-judicial bodies, such as members of the Human Rights Commissions, national and regional courts, or representatives of accountability mechanisms. Each panellist will bring a unique perspective and expertise to the discussion, ensuring a comprehensive exploration of this important topic.
